서촌의 오래된 골목 안에 자리한 스테이 ‘누와’는 전통 한옥의 구조와 감각을 현대적인 생활 방식 안에서 다시 경험할 수 있도록 계획된 공간이다. 조경은 작은 마당과 창을 통해 자연을 절제된 방식으로 끌어들이는 데 초점을 두었다. 원형 창 너머로 보이는 작은 정원은 하나의 풍경화처럼 작동한다. 계절에 따라 잎과 가지의 표정이 달라지는 나무와 낮게 깔린 이끼, 자연석과 물확은 제한된 공간 안에서도 깊이 있는 자연의 분위기를 형성해 머무르는 사람에게 도시 속 작은 사유의 풍경을 제공한다.

Located within the old alleyways of Seochon, the stay “Nuwa” was designed as a space where the structure and sensibility of the traditional Korean hanok can be reinterpreted through a contemporary way of living. The landscape design focuses on bringing nature into the space in a restrained and subtle manner through small courtyards and carefully framed windows. The small garden seen beyond the circular window functions like a living landscape painting. Trees whose branches and foliage change with the seasons, low-spreading moss, natural stones, and traditional stone water bowls create a rich and contemplative atmosphere within a limited space, offering visitors a quiet moment of reflection amid the city.
