대상지는 탁 트인 산세와 조망을 품고 있지만, 차량 동선과 주차장, 부속 시설이 혼재되어 있어 경관의 몰입도가 분산되고 있었다. 조경계획은 이러한 복잡한 요소들을 정리하고, 자연의 흐름 속에서 풍경을 경험할 수 있는 공간 구조를 만드는 데서 출발한다. 기존 산림과 사면은 최대한 보존하면서, 녹지를 확장해 진입부의 시각적 혼잡을 완화하고 외부 환경을 자연스럽게 감싸는 완충 영역을 형성했다. 이 완충 공간은 단순한 차폐가 아니라, 이용자의 시선과 움직임을 조율하며 건축과 자연 사이의 관계를 부드럽게 연결하는 장치로 작동한다. 조망이 열리는 방향에는 잔디마당과 전망데크, 산책로를 배치해 이용자가 풍경 속으로 천천히 스며들 수 있도록 계획했다. 완만한 마운딩과 숲길은 시야를 단계적으로 열어주고, 체류 공간의 밀도를 분산시켜 보다 깊은 경관 경험을 유도한다. 중심 공간의 수공간은 하늘과 풍경을 반사하며 주변 자연을 끌어들이고, 계절과 시간의 변화를 담아내는 장면을 만든다. 전체 공간은 인위적인 조형보다 대상지가 가진 지형과 숲의 흐름을 존중하는 방식으로 구성되었다. 건축, 녹지, 완충 공간이 서로 겹쳐지며 이용과 휴식, 조망이 자연스럽게 이어지는 풍경을 제안한다.

The site embraces expansive mountain scenery and open views, yet the overlap of vehicle circulation, parking areas, and ancillary facilities had fragmented the overall landscape experience. The landscape design began with reorganizing these complex elements and establishing a spatial structure that allows visitors to experience the scenery through the natural flow of the site. Existing forests and slopes were preserved as much as possible, while expanded green areas help reduce visual congestion at the entrance and form a buffer zone that gently surrounds the external environment. This buffer space functions not simply as screening, but as a device that mediates movement and views, softly connecting architecture and nature. Toward the open views, lawns, viewing decks, and walking paths were arranged so that visitors could gradually immerse themselves in the landscape. Gentle mounding and forest trails reveal the scenery in stages while dispersing areas of stay, encouraging a deeper experience of the landscape. At the center, the water feature reflects the sky and surrounding scenery, drawing nature into the space while capturing seasonal and temporal change. Rather than relying on artificial forms, the overall composition respects the site’s existing topography and the flow of the forest. Architecture, greenery, and buffer spaces overlap to create a landscape where use, rest, and views are naturally connected.
