대상지는 주택과 게스트하우스, 펍이 함께 구성된 복합 공간으로, 조경은 각각의 건축물을 개별적으로 분리하기보다 유기적으로 연결하는 데 초점을 두었다. 넓은 마당과 진입 공간, 커뮤니티 공간, 텃밭, 선큰가든 등 다양한 외부 프로그램을 배치하여 머무르고 교류하는 공간을 만들고자 했다. 중앙의 커뮤니티 공간은 선큰가든과 수공간, 파이어핏(Fire Pit), 벤치를 중심으로 계획되어 이용자들이 자연스럽게 모이고 머물 수 있는 장소로 구성하였다. 얕은 수면에 비치는 건축과 하늘의 풍경은 공간에 깊이를 더하고, 선큰 공간은 휴식과 소규모 모임이 이루어지는 외부 거실의 역할을 한다. 주변에는 수수꽃다리, 향나무, 유카 등 구조감 있는 식재를 배치하여 사계절 변화와 공간의 입체감을 더했다. 진입부는 그라스류와 관목을 활용한 자연주의적 식재를 통해 건축으로 향하는 동선을 부드럽게 유도하며, 자작나무와 마운딩으로 구성된 버퍼존은 외부 시선을 조절하고 공간에 적절한 프라이버시를 부여한다. 건물 사이의 좁은 통로는 디딤목과 자갈, 자연스러운 식재를 활용해 작은 산책길처럼 계획하였으며, 텃밭 공간은 과실수와 채소 재배가 가능한 생활 정원으로 구성하여 자연과 일상의 관계를 확장했다. 휴식과 교류, 재배와 체험, 식사와 이벤트 등 다양한 일상이 자연 속에서 펼쳐질 수 있는 복합적인 생활 환경을 제안한다.

The project brings together a house, guest house, and pub within a single site, with the landscape designed to connect these individual buildings into a cohesive environment rather than treating them as separate elements. A variety of outdoor programs—including an expansive lawn, entrance garden, community space, vegetable garden, and sunken garden—were organized to create places for gathering, relaxation, and everyday interaction. At the heart of the site, the community space is centered around a sunken garden, reflecting pool, fire pit, and seating areas, encouraging people to naturally gather and spend time outdoors. Reflections of the architecture and sky on the shallow water surface add depth to the space, while the sunken area functions as an outdoor living room for relaxation and small gatherings. Structural planting composed of lilacs, junipers, and yuccas introduces seasonal change and spatial richness throughout the year. The entrance garden uses naturalistic planting with ornamental grasses and shrubs to gently guide movement toward the buildings. Buffer zones formed by birch trees and subtle mounding help filter views from the outside while providing an appropriate sense of privacy. Narrow passages between the buildings are designed as intimate garden walks, featuring timber stepping elements, gravel, and informal planting. The vegetable garden, planted with fruit trees and edible crops, extends the relationship between nature and everyday life through cultivation and seasonal engagement. Together, these spaces create a multifaceted living environment where rest and social interaction, gardening and hands-on experiences, dining and events can unfold naturally within the landscape. Rather than serving as a decorative backdrop, the landscape becomes an integral setting for daily life, connecting architecture, people, and nature into a continuous experience
