양평 서종면의 숲과 주거지가 맞닿은 이 단독주택 정원은, 건축의 단순하고 절제된 형태 위에 자연의 시간성과 질감을 덧입히는 방식으로 계획되었다. 흰 벽돌과 밝은 매스, 얇은 철판 지붕으로 이루어진 건축은 배경처럼 차분하게 놓이고, 정원은 그 사이를 채우며 일상의 풍경을 만든다.

Located at the edge of the forest and residential area in Seojong-myeon, Yangpyeong, this private residence garden was designed as a way of layering the textures and temporality of nature onto the architecture’s simple and restrained form. The architecture — composed of white brick walls, bright masses, and a thin metal roof — is quietly placed like a backdrop, while the garden fills the spaces in between, shaping the scenery of everyday life.
